After our semi-successful garden last year we thought that we had learned a few things and truly enjoyed the fresh produce so we should try again. This year however, we decided to start everything except the tomatoes from seeds. (What were we thinking?!?!)

Mayce of course was thrilled and after a trip to Wal-Mart where we hemmed and hahed over what to buy, we planted lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, zucchini, okra, broccoli, snapdragons, and sweet williams. Mayce is loving it and checks on "her plants" daily to make sure that they are progressing as they should. Amazingly, so far things are looking great and of the 40 "pots" planted 33 have sprouted.
The weather has even cooperated allowing Buck to get the actual plot ready for us to transfer them when they get a little bigger.
So as with all good things now comes the hard part...the waiting!!!
