Easter 2010

Yes, I realize it is June but I was sorting through pictures and found tons that I had not posted so prepare yourselves for pic overload.  Easter fell during our fabulous 2 week spring break this year and making it even more special was the fact that Caleb was dedicated during the early service.  I just love the fact that all three of the cousins were dedicated on perhaps not the exact same day but the same holiday at least.

Unfortunately, I don't have pictures from church, what I do have are the before and after though...
Buck and I have always felt it important that the girls realize that yes holidays are fun and sometimes they get cool stuff but that their focus needs to be on, in this instance, the sacrifice that God made for us.  So although they were able to look at their baskets before we left for church nothing was played with until after.
Mayce scored a My Little Pony Sweet Shoppe.  Funny story...I actually bought this after Christmas on sale for $12 (normally it's $25) with the plan of giving it to her for Valentines Day.  Well I forgot about it soooo she recieved it on Easter.

Ansley's bucket was filled with much needed jammies, a phone, a Jelly Bellies that came in quite handy during all of our travels.

Even Buck got in on the fun with his very own bunny bag of Peanut M&Ms.

After church we headed over to my parent's house for a lovely lunch and a lively hunt!  Mayce is of course an old pro by now...

Ansley however, needed a little bit more help.  She just kept running from egg to egg going "Oh!, Oh!"  It was WAY TOO cute!

Even Caleb enjoyed his time outside in the craziness!

Funny that we don't have a family picture but I took one of Josh and KT.

We are SO blessed!

CHEESE!!!

Mayce had her, much anticipated and highly feared, dentist appointment on the morning that we returned from Tucson.  We have had some concerns about the her teeth and their condition due to her prematurity but the doc said she looked great!  Our God is SO GOOD!  And even though she did shed some tears in the beginning she ended up doing well so we held up our end of the bargain and headed out to Chuck E Cheese!

Buck always gets way more tokens than I think we are going to need so I have honed in on my gaming skills.  I always had for the ones you can spend the most tickets in the shortest amount of time while still winning a bucket load of tickets.  So without futher ado...

We ran into two of my students while we were there and they were in complete shock.  It made me laugh because they looked at our PILE of tickets and then me with these huge eyes and said "Mrs. COOLER!!!" Hee hee they now look at me in a whole new light!

So for our efforts Mayce scored a Tinkerbell locket and a complete set of Blendy Pens.  Not bad for an hours work.  (We will just leave the fact that we could have bought them for 1/2 as much at Wal-Mart out.)  Love to you all!

Playing Around

I had been searching for a new blog design FOREVER.  (Or at least that is the way it seemed to me!)  So when I finally found LeeLou Blogs and decided on the design I wanted to use I knew I would need new pictures for the header.  That being said I got the girls dressed and tried to get some good shots.  It should be noted that the girls are complete opposites when it comes to the camera.  As soon as Mayce sees it she starts posing...as soon as Ansley sees it she starts running (in the opposite direction I might add).  In spite of it all we still managed to get a few good pics as for the rest?  Well you will see...

I don't see you...

I have absolutely no clue what is in her hand...

Fish face!

I really like this one but I fell in love with her eyes in the one I ended up choosing.

So cute!

She just looks so big too me!  Funny side note...the pants that she is wearing in this picture are so long that to make them the correct length we would have to cut off enough fabric to make her a pair of capris.  Maybe not THAT much but alot!  And they are 5s so what gives?

For 30 minutes of playing around I don't think we did too badly!

Tuscon

Over spring break the girls and I headed out on our first solo road trip to see Ryan, Trish, and the kids.  Buck stayed home to bust up what was supposed to be 9 but ended up being 32 tile so I must admit I am glad we weren't around for the mayhem.  It was three days packed full of fun, laughs, and love.  Man we miss them!

The girls played in the tub...

and in the dirt....

Ate at In N Out for the fist time (it was fabulous by the way)...

Sorry I had to take a pic of this.  Sometimes I think that "duck feet" are the story of my life!

Ansley fell in love with the stairs...

Jasmine and Mayce had a tea party...

and we played at the mall...
Chance was handsome as ever.

Asher is getting SO big!

Jasmine and Mayce painted the ugliest prettiest teapots that you ever did see...

We made "oil" brownies...

It's a good thing kids don't care about the details!

All in all it was a fabulous weekend spent catching up and spoiling kiddos that we don't get to see everyday anymore.  We are counting down the days until we see them again.  Love you guys!
